25 NOV: Men of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade take part in a "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" campaign outside Parliament House in Canberra, Australia. The event was held to raise awareness about men’s violence towards women and marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The UN reports that 35% of women and girls globally experience some form of physical and or sexual violence in their lifetime with up to seven in ten women facing this abuse in some countries.
